Go bowls; Go
I'm currently cleaning up my parents' house. These belonged to my father, whose hobbies were Go and Shogi. He loved them so much that he even started a club, so he seems to have collected a lot of related items. It says Japan Ki-in on the bottom, so I think this is for holding Go stones. I'm calling it a goke (stone container), but since it's not made of wood, I'm not sure if that's the correct term... It's made of a plastic-like material. The Go stones themselves are not included. The tatami tray in the photo is not included in the sale. Please understand this based on the description and photos, and only purchase if you agree.
