Obituary reads:Comedian, singer and night club owner Cozy Morley died this week from an illness. He was 87 years old.Morley owned the popular Club Avalon in North Wildwood for many years. Morley performed stand-up comedy, music and vaudevillian variety shows at the club. He also attracted performers such as the Glenn Miller Band and Johnnie Ray. Morley also performed a popular rendition of “On the Way to Cape May,” a summertime anthem for the Jersey Shore.Club Avalon later turned into Westy’s Irish Pub. A life-size statue of Morley was erected outside Westy’s back in 2003
