This is a cable for connecting Game Boy Advance systems for multiplayer communication.
By adding more cables to the connection box in the center of the cable, you can play with up to 4 players. If the software supports it, you can play with others using only one cartridge (up to 4 players).
(However, with only one cable, you can only connect two systems.)
There is almost no discoloration, but the metal parts show a few dullness due to age.
It will probably work without any problems, but I haven't been able to confirm this as I don't have an environment to test it.
