The item is a vintage Mission Dry Sparkling Soda bottle from the 1920s-1930s. It is made of opaque black glass and held 12 oz of soda. Pontil bottom, it measures 9 1/2 inches tall with a 2 1/2 inch diameter base, tapering to a 1-inch diameter top. These bottles were used for Mission Dry's Sparkling Orange soda, starting during Prohibition. The black glass was one-of-a-kind and used during the first three years of the company's 50-year history.
