☆ Uses Tango Mizuyori yarn
This is a traditional method in the Tango region of Kyoto Prefecture, where tough twisting is applied to the yarn while using water.
In particular, it is used when making textiles called Tango crepe. By twisting the raw silk while moistening it with water, solid twisted yarn is created, and by weaving that yarn, unevenness called "shibo" is formed on the fabric.
This shibo creates the characteristic texture of Tango crepe.
