In the post-war Tokyo boarding house, Toeikan, Saburo Goda was bored, uninterested in work or play. One day, Goda accidentally looks into the attic, where the ceiling board had come off. In that fantastical, otherworldly space, he gradually discovers the forbidden pleasure of peeking into other people's rooms through a knothole. Eventually, Goda comes up with an even more terrifying crime.

A 1962 film adaptation of Edogawa Rampo's novel. Female thief: Black Lizard vs. Detective Akechi in a glamorous battle! Reversal after reversal! A continuous thrill where you can't predict the next second! A definitive entertainment film drawn gorgeously by a top-class staff! This work is from when I was in my late 30s. The LD version of Black Lizard was released quite late in the LD era, so there aren't a lot of copies.

The two discs together were originally priced at ¥11,800.
